Create a List of Target Colleges: Chat GPT is Your Assistant

As we discussed in the last Recruiting Checklist post, one of our next steps is to create a target list of colleges.

Back in the day, I called schools and wrote letters. Now we have the internet and email.

But even better, we have AI.

We need a list of colleges that meet your criteria (skill level, location, campus life, coaches, education, etc) to start introductions to coaches – we’ll get to the introductions in a future post.

Let’s use Chat GPT to do our research.

Here’s an example of questions, responses, and a list of 30 colleges with additional information.

Example Criteria…

  • Mix of D1, D2, D3
  • “Close” proximity to the Outer Banks
  • Good soccer programs
  • Website
  • Coach name
  • Coach contact email

Can you help give me a list of colleges close to 27948 with strong men’s soccer and a mix of d1, d2, and d3. 10 in each category please?
